and after that denial came to late.
I knew the problems we would have to face

my parents would never understand, you coming from the east
antisipating Armageddon or something close to say the least.
A Muslim, an Arab, black marks that can last for years
will they ever be able to overcome their fears?
Sure we have disagreements, our cultures differ deep and wide
but the happiness we share helps us stand and fight.

i know the feeling. loving someone different from who you are is such a taboo. that it feels like your always hidding when you wanna just show the world. that is how it feels everytime i wanna show my love for another woman
