Everything is torn asunder
The war is sounding like thunder.
Thoughts that worry you, freely you can say
Yeah right, that will be the day.
Shattered hopes and shattered dreams
Is all I see, it seems.
Friends and family torn apart
Can you feel the breaking of their heart.
Instead of showing patience and understanding
A bomb on someone’s house is landing.
The smoke fills the air and then
We know someone died again.
Million of names on walls are written
The bug of war has people bitten.

good writing, the only criticism i have is that the rhymes seemed a little forced and unoriginal. thank you for entering

This is really interesting. I like the idea of the "bug of war"- it definitely seems like nationsare itching to go to war all the time.
Thank you for the entry,
