Mary's Eyes

How fair the eyes that capture, locking mine in chains,
Like star-swept pools of wonder, whose innocence remains,
Despite the distant thrumming, of time’s relentless tide,
They dream of mew worlds coming, devoid of hate or pride.

How strong am I against her, soft simplicity?
Like home-bound swans in springtime, whose course must destined be,
Despite the serinading,  of other flocks who soar,
To sin-kissed crystal waters, to warmth and light once more.

Flowing with truth, hope inspired, funny in the last write you and I wrote about the same thing about satan's fall etc, but here I was facinated by 2 swans down by a lake near me, you could get near them, I took an awesome picture of them, then a week later didn't see them anymore, so I see their course and mine in your words. Bessings.

    wow

This perhaps was the most eloquent poem I've read lately. It flowed, with words of intelligence. You used your pen to paint a picture for us to see. I can't leave suggestions as your talent far out weighs mine.
