{Translation:
Pretend no more -
this masquerade of lies is ending,
and the Great Unmasking shall begin -
we wait until the witching hour strikes -
I shall see thy true face at last,
concealed by a mask of deception;
how I long to see thy horror,
thy twisted deformity.}
Author notes
My first in this style.
The reason for it is to show how something so obvious can be missed or confused by simply twisting and distorting it. . or putting it in reverse. It's not straightforward, but - in the end - you realize that it was right under your nose all along. If you know anything about the, er, style, then it also makes sense in that aspect, because the poem is about evil under a mask of beauty and finally being revealed.

It didn't let me applaud so I have to comment again.

You missed the litnu in the fourth line, but it's cool! It does sound very Phantom of the Opera.
-
Wow it sounds like a phantom of the opera type poem.
