I'm feeling so stressed out now
And don't know how to cope
So breaking skin and seeing blood
Gives me some kind of hope
When everything seems hopeless
And nothing's going right
A little cut upon my knee
Helps me get through the night
I won't do something major
For fear of what could come
See, if you think that I'll get caught,
I'm really not that dumb
I cut to ease the tension
To undermine this pain
The blade across my calloused skin
Relieves the mental strain
There's no way to forget this
Once I get lost in thought
So when it seems I'm on my own
The razor's all I've got
