Yes, what a perfect picture. So easy to get taken in, I guess, what with the allure of vinegar and the promise of involuntarily squinted eyes. But we all do it from time to time... until we have one pickle too many. And then, as the frustration here reveals, we finally learn. Well written, clever use of the pickle to tell your story.

LoL, that was great. I love sour pickles, but the analogy is clear. How often have we tried something repeatedly that others tell us to like. I can almost taste the bitterness of something you hate.
