To my chagrin
I believe...
that it can not be
the way it was during bolder minutes
When in rear consciousness
he was the only contender
When he searched it
was from where he could
see me stand
We be hand in hand
and side by side
but not anymore... is it?
Because now you’ve gone
and met your banner of pride
Had your taste
The slightest drops
you will not let be wasted
Within those rounds she has
the final piece... doesn’t she?
Now you can have the cake
while it’s continues whole
The surgeon doesn’t strike with
the same blue scold
and cause don’t count much
compared to what she has in
store… I believe
Bad enough on my head
were a comedy of plaits
On the tongues of most they
spelled out naps
Hers flowed like fresh
laid silk down her back… right?
She has altered her dress
Grown prosperous in size
10 feet tall
Bubbling cinnamon eyes
The days are here
You've come to claim your prize…haven’t you?
In my dignity I’ll just step
aside… when in secret reality
I realize
that kind of want I couldn’t
begin to inspire...could I?
I am the defeated

Well, you gave away all your power and your pride in this one didn't you?
We, human beings, don't stand a chance when dealing with those who claim they want the best but truly only seek what impresses their weakest sense.
I could jump up and down and tell you not to act the clown, but at the present time while the wound feels fresh, come over here and sit down with me. Listen, those that deal in each other like commodities soon find themselves searching through the wrapping paper and wondering why they still feel like nothing is there.
Love, Tom B.
