Time

Missing image
Time embraced by yesterday,
bound by memories.
Today choked by regret...
while others said, in time I would forget.

Gentle eyes that know my heart...
Even though I try not to show - I just could not let go.
Waited for me to make a fresh start.

Time has wrapped me in arms of protection.
Now I see in all directions.
My life until now,
has been just a reflection
of what others mirrored in me.

Now with the passing of time and miles of space ...
Gone ...not a trace of his face ...
or thoughts that lingered on my mind.

Just like you said it was a matter of time.

    Time heals all

I love the theme of time that you chose! I love the images of your friends as the eyes that are waiting for you to move on and I simply love this image:

    My life until now,
    has been just a reflection
of what others mirrored in me.

Well said!! Thanks for entering and good luck!

oh what a thought provoking piece, which is so true. it's funny how that space in time can stop the hurt but we still remember it, sometimes a little, sometimes a lot.And thankyou for my comment its so nice to share.
