Fumble, fumble a way through
searching for something, to-which
you have no clue. Covered in
blinding colours, nothing is
clear as untouched rivers.
You climb mountains for a
better view of what you wish
to see. There’s never a sunset
awaiting you, for they’re gone, faded
away, evaporated into the unknown.
Share this air with cups and strings,
dangling in and out, swishing to
the bottom of in-depth thoughts.
Tunnelling down so deep so rapid,
you’re hitting the walls, reality escapes.
Darkened flowers wilt at the tips,
upon the mountains you ran for.
You see it all fall so swiftly,
no chance in reaching out and
saving what you once knew.
You see it in your eyes, the life
that’s been stolen away, dragged
through thorns of your own
miss control. Your heart beats faster.
Wishing, longing for understanding.
Thoughts took control.
