Dear Heavenly Father
So kind and true
We ask your blessings
On our President new
As he takes the oath
Of our President to be
Let him truly fulfill
His commitment to you and me
Lead him through the days ahead
When he will face many trials
Walk with him throughout each day
As he journeys over daily miles
May he and Congress work side by side
That our government will be true
Bless our country and leaders
Bless the Red, the White and the blue
