I’m Not Afraid........ (It's a Poetic Drama)

I’m Not Afraid

Ey! What are you doing here?
Hidden! Wounded!
Broken and bleed!
What happened?
Why so disastrous?
……………
……………
……………
Speak!
Tell something!
I can help you…
But,
Tell!
Share you heart
Who were they?
Why they did it?

Maa!
They were ….
They were so cruel
They beaten my brother,
Then me,

But why?

I don’t know
But,
I did nothing
They just came
Broke everything
Played with innocence
There!!!
……
Everyone is injured
Some may have died

What they were talking?

I don’t know
Maa!
Ohh! My mummy!
Where is she?
She was with me
She held my hand
Maa!
Where are you?

She is not here
May be left behind
Or injured

Aah!
Mummy!
We did nothing
My mummy and all others
They were innocent
Murderers were shouting

Shouting for what?

For revenge
Of their leader
……..

Just for one person?
They destroyed a whole city?
Many injured and many died
What they did?
They were not the guilty ones
Was it their revenge?
Naa!
It wasn’t
They were the murderers of Humanity
It was nothing more
But madness of blood traitors

When they will stop it, Sir?

May be,
When thirst for blood,
Thirst for money
And thirst for power will end

But no such thirst can be fulfilled
After every few days
They will repeat it
………………………
………………………
No way to stop them?
Can not a wonder happen?
When they will know?
They value of life?
They value of innocence?
They value of blood?
…………..
…………………

Don’t they know?
How a drop become a baby?
Then a son or a daughter
How mother bears the pain?
How a baby born?
Every second before a baby born
She cares and she tries not to take stress
Then the moment
When she comes in the world
How happy the parents are!
Every step of growth
Under the series of cures and take cares
They become the breath of them
…………………
And,
What!
If they see them
Not calling Mama or Papa
Alas!
So terrible, when a mother
Mourn her baby’s death

Pain and so much pain!
Why don’t they get any pain?
Why don’t they feel it?

Won’t they die?
Won’t they taste the pain of Death?

The Greatest of all pains!!!

woow this was great poem...speechless...may the killings of all these muslimsbe justified on the day of judgement....until then, i donno. butthis was a great poem

  • This was intense. There are things I would change, but I'd rather not go into them. You did a wonderful job expressing sorrow and a kind of frantic tone. This poem really demanded answers for these atrocities, a good write. Thanks for entering and good luck to you.

  • A sobering poem that touches the reader on the arm and pulls her into the scene to see what you know happens. I am sad for those who suffer so. A beautiful, revealing poem, good Poet Sir.

  • when i read this... i got chills up my spine.. and down again.. wow... chilling write.. hhhh

    deep and wonderful

    blessed be

its sad whats happening to Muslims but if u see it Muslims who are causing problems to other Muslims.. rather than non muslims.

the imagery is good but it dosnt flow well and some sentences are awkward.. you need to read and observe more poems from old poets to understand english poetry.

its too long!! i get lost from your write. many grammatical mistakes. "What they were talking?"/ what were they talking? ...."How a drop becomeS a baby?" ..

well you have the emotions and zest of a poet.. just your skill is raw. in time you will get it too

thanks for sharing it with us
    regards

hummm... I think I'll just not look at your work anymore if you aren't going to let comments stay... anyway I do remember this one and I didn't like this one at all if I remember right. We had a sort of discussion about it if I do remember correctly.

This is a really powerful piece.

I particularly liked the way you broke from a more structured stanza format and created something different.

Broken and bleed....it would sound better if it was bleeding...typo maybe or what?...
    Speak!
    Tell something!

Say something or tell me something would sound better

They beaten my brother should be written they beat

    May be should be Maybe

    They value of life
    they vaule of innocence?
    they value of blood?

they should be the or delete the ofs

at the end pain is used alot...sounds a little repetative....

but the poem it's self is very good but the thing above they make reading it well difficult...thanx 4 sharing anyway...and good luck...

So filled with sorrow and great dispair. The travesty of war, no matter who is involved. Peace should be among the ppl. I felt the pain and the urgency within your words. Prayer is something we should all do. Thanks for sharing your wonderful piece.

A very powerful piece here. A lot of people over the entire world are being killed for nothing, I don't understand why people can't learn to live with difference, belief wise and character wise. Sigh, a powerful piece here indeed.

    Brilliant!!

I live in war every single day with others...with myself...I think we all do. This really touched me. Its funny how something said by someone half way across the world had such a huge affect on me...I loved how you made reference to the childbirth and the pain of it and the pain of losing the fruit of that labor as well. my little brother was killed in an accident last summer....I can really relate. great job....you have captured anger and sadness at their best! I do not believe in war and i do not agree with the killing of innocent men, women and children. Great write.

awe so much pain and sorrow in this one. A lot of anger as well. You ask good questions about war. War is evil... not the people who are in the war. Perhaps some day our world leaders will find another way to solve problems other than getting our people to fight one another. I think that would be ever so nice.

Many people have died on both sides of this world and I grieve with each and every family member of each and every victim. For death is a permanet solution to what may perhaps be only a temporary solution.

As for the poem itself it is a little rough in places but I think that is only because I think english is not your native language. Other than that it is a very well written poem.

Peace be with you... I pray the world finds it as well.

There is a lot of pain and anguish in this one! Wow!I do not condone war for any reason, it is horrific and awful. So many loose loved ones, and the loss of life is terrible. I really wish more people would stop and think about what effect war has on everyone! Not jus those in the fighting.

    Great job!

Best of luck in this contest!

i enjoyed reading this very much. though in no way shape or form can i relate, when i was reading this, in my head the voices changed around the poem, and i could hear the verses properly, and that is how i felt it.

after the poem, i particularly liked the ending statement in your author's note:
If The Killing of Muslims is War against Terrorism, Do Fight with me Please. I too Wanna Die in the Same Way as My Brothers, and Sisters are Dieing.

i agree. and i would agree even more if you were to say "the killing of innocents". in that case, i'd like to join in with the victims, as well.

I love how you reflected on the birth of a child! Excellent! Everyone was once a couples baby and the worst pain is to see your child die before you. I think that you captured this concept so well! Great Job! Keep up the good work! Your an inspiration!

The Story Of A Hate Crime...

This was a very painful, but Excellent piece to read! It tells of a new kind of hate crime committed by those who seek to destroy all with no remorse for their actions.

    In response...

It may seem obvious to point out that you seem to be in a lot of...pain? If not pain then distress.
It makes me upset to read your words and your note there and know that somewhere, away from the relative safety of the western worlds in which many of us live, there are those who have all they love torn from them in an instant and are lost forever.
I feel for you, I am sorry for your losses and any torment you may yet suffer for those warmongerers and sadists.
