The Miracle Of Love

Missing image
Oh
Mother Divine
if you are the roof
I am a tile

if you are All
I am a part of You

As much as a tile
separated from the roof
has no value

my life has no sense
away from
Your womb

Like the tile
that fills the empty space
in the roof

my consciousness
will always return
to You

One roof – a multitude of tiles
One tile – a part of the only roof

The tile is contained in the roof
The roof, is it contained in the tile ?

If the roof is the goal
the tile is the way
the tile is not the goal

But is there
any consciousness
of the roof

without tiles ?

Author notes

Angel : "The Seraphim Of The Miracle Of Love"

Quote : "I am brought alive by the miracle of Love"

Message : "The Angel is seen alongside lovebirds, a symbol of the miracle of love. The winged wheels of fire are symbolic of the Seraphim themselves. The eye at the top represents the symbol for the Heaven of Paradise. The heart at the bottom and the open hands stand for the longing for real love which all of us share."

    Hoodwinked

I love the picture and I like the words hat go with it. I like the analogy of the roof and the tile. The tile is part of the roof and without any tiles, there would be no roof.

merci beaucoup, dear brother dennis ...
I very much love metaphors ... they speak to our unconscious much more vividly and efficiently than abstract language ... although I also love to play with words and concepts that don't create mental images on the screen of the mind, the childlike heart of mine feels delighted when metaphors open doors of insight ... for me, they are like letters from the soul ...

thank you so much for being my brother,
      maa

We are all a piece of a tile woven together. I strongly love the concept of angels, so this is a wonderful write, deep and spiritual. Blessings.

Divinity is given its due here...
Humble, this verse unfolds in questioning,
seeking the guidance of higher love; the
purity of that which can encompass all.
Lovely to share in the beauty of your soul.

An interesting poem with a lot of emotion and deep feelings towards the Divine Mother whom we all are a part of. I particularly like your notes and how your poem ends on a question. Thanks so much for enlightening me with them.

    All the best,
    Charishma

What is true in micro, that is true in macro. Love in most limited domain is the same love, but in miniature form, of what is attained by divinity.

"The tile is contained in the roof
The roof, is it contained in the tile ?"

The ground, is it contained in the sky? Let me know, when you get to the horizon.

I have missed your presence and your poetry.

Always remember how important that it is that you are.
For without that one tile the rain would get in.
Never let yourself be a part of everything.
For on your own you are the shelter of yourself.

What a great metaphor. Only when we fit tight together do we prevent the rain from leaking through. Each tile is required to make the roof tight. All have a purpose, individually and collectively. A great take on the prompt.

Beautifully written and penned with a passion for love and the truth. The strength and faith of a single tile joins together with the rest to complete the roof and allow it to do its job and protect us, love us and teach us.

    Love,
    Amera♥

    DEEP..

I really like this my friend it has such depth to it, it's easy to reread and 'see' other possiblities within..yet the end result remains the ..the 'roof' and the 'tile' are a part of each other and neither can fully exist without the other (at least that's what I get out it! ) great work my friend..

    "No man is an island..."

Nor is the island complete without the man. I like that notion. Intriguing poem for both the senses and the mind.

Sadly I don't think many people adhere to that believe, they seem bent on separating themselves from the roof. Or sections of tiles from it.
