The angels now chilled
Their morbid hearts true
To the whistling Santa
Who watches from his post
Smiling at the corpses
Decaying on the barbed wire
Fences of the ones long gone
This is our home
Falling snow is all I spy
The winter eternal.
A man with a single arm laughs
As we are loaded onto the train
The eyes of sin upon us
But the eyes of God lost
Forgotten in the last of green
This is our home
Seventeen shameless children
Watching the ending come.
Where there was once hope
Bitter red pills take the place.
Another my only salvation
My heart racing once more
As he grips my hand tight.
This is our home.
Author notes
In case someone actually reads the whole series, which is highly unlikely admittedly, I'll explain a bit. The Protagonist believed he had found true love. This doesn't last, as his lover kills himself. With no home, he wanders the streets and is caught and taken to this new home.
