Flow or Frozenness

Looped in rebound, the soul waxes and wanes: expansion exhales inhalations of illusions. Reality is air, beautiful flow or flabbergasted frozenness; prisms pierced by rays of reason find the music within colours. Alone, heart cannot deny its need to be held by blood's shudder ... sorrow's pulse declares drones of joyous mourning. Wholeness recycles recollections of a past written in stars. Now a leader, the future already in decay, this continent suffers its afterglow. God, a gasping quiver inside me, guides the intuitive urge to create a Masterpiece. Not for the death of me can I be me without the life I was gifted with. Where does the soul swerve when the universe shrinks to prick? There is a moment of genesis in this knowing: solace is in shared solitude. Thus, sweet Beginning, be my lonesome Lover!

When we understand ourselves we understand the world and that understanding is the beginning of wisdom. You are wise.

It seems to be life's job to prune us, and it is our job to grow back. Much as we hate the pruning, it is the beginning of growth.

You have a most impressive stream of consciousness. Excellent writing.

    You never cease

to amaise me. From the first time I enjoyed your guidance as a student - so many years ago - I still wonder at the scriblings on my pages of thought. Always with comments that served the learner to reach higher and higher. Only years later have I realised the true significance of it all - a never-ending genesis. Thank you my precious friend. I came, I read & ID'd with ...

all that you shared! Within your stream of consciousness there are honest reflections that seem genuine and not just what "one is supposed to say". I applaud this innocence and like a good essayist (Emerson) you have served up a complete meal with each statement and the last one is one that I will tuck up under my hat, for it is one that needs to be remembered. I am a student always and with my lonesome lover ... always aware of new beginnings! jy

And within these words is the stab of pain for your Africa and it's joyous yet often sad cry and you hear it as I do dear poet and you weep with it and you smile for her beauty which we can see because we know her soul C
