Early Morning Warfare

I hear a giggle in the distance
Slowly I slip back to reality
I feel a slight movement next to me
Again a soft giggle is heard

My mind snaps awake
But my reflexes are let down
By the body still half asleep
Hand reaches out only catching air

As a rush of fleecy softness
Flashes over my naked body
Left like a sheep to the wolfs
The cold morning air attacks

A giggle again grabs my attention
I release a battle cry of laughter
As I begin my siege of tickles
In the endless war for the covers
