I'm writing a letter to you,
these are my words of passion

I dot my 'i's with a smile
and grind me teeth at the thought
of your name
this is the curl of my 'c's
and these are my tears
can you see the stains on my face?

These words, they're a confession
I strike my 'a's with long lines
and freeze as
my hand reaches for the flowers dead on my bed

I scribble my 'r's with a sob
this is the sound of my heart
can you remember its beat?

I sign my name with a flowery 'e'
this is my letter to you
