Feel it run over my skin,
Washing away my latest sin.
The cold and chill feels so shrill.
I smile to myself,
Knowing that I still have my health
Though I'm lost within this miserable skin.
I've still got good friends
That'll be there till the end.
They'll be there to help when I can't find myself.
Rain soaks my clothes
As it silently begins to impose.
Does Rain know the dead ends or what's around the bend?
It takes my memories and dreams
And slowly washes them clean,
Taking all of those nightmares I chose.
As it sweeps my body free of negative space,
I'm shocked at with which it is replaced.
I can feel myself lean back on all my hopes and dreams.
Rain knows what I want and need.
With its help I am freed
Of every stated case and every morbid place.
My Rain is my constant companion.
It is the pool that I can land in
As it leads me to the places where I am free.
