Faeries

Moon shining bright,
up in charcoal sky.
For the song of the wolves,
and the breeze blowing with a sigh.

Soft green leaves,
ruffled softly in the wind,
coming alive with quiet cackles,
like the ones who have sinned.

Now, down far below,
in a pool of shimmering light.
Faeries began to wake,
what an incredible sight.

Wings fluttering gently,
the silver moon shining.
Wandering towards the goal,
moving quickly, flying.

Rising like butterflies,
wings stretched out far.
Huge rainbow eyes,
that no darkness could mar.

Heading to the palace,
to the awaiting king.
A meeting carefully called,
for us to raise our voice and sing.

Dancing together,
like a flock of tiny birds.
With singing so sweet and clear,
with words that are never slurred.

The faeries gathered,
to sing to the gods.
To pray for their food,
their peas in their pods.

Sparkles flying, high in the air,
twisting and spinning like fire.
They perform intricate ballet,
a scene of which none could tire.

All singing a beautiful note,
weaving and curling into the sky,
like powerful magic not stronger than love,
the strongest of all, never to die.

Wishes flying among the stars,
with them the limit's no sky.
They grant the dreams of children,
on wings of gold they fly.

The moon sinks below the horizon,
darkening the feast down there.
Unfortunately they have to go now,
but tomorrow in bed... beware!

    awsome

I like the flow of words. faires started to wake, wings fluttering gently and riseing like butterfly wings they are my favorite lines. Also like the way faires sang to god. Which I always had a thing for angels, faires and winged things. Keep the good work up.
