rain falling, puddles deep and dirty
Her feet wet from the rain
yet her mind just runs on crack
Yearning to find her next fix
no coat to shelter her body
Her head shakes at the sight
of her fellow greeter
Hands swap money and candy
with head down she inspect her treat
Can't wait for a proper place for injection
she scrambles for tools in need
With her hair tie around her arm
melted crystals fill the syringe
Eyes widen at the feel of relief
she has eaten the crack from within
nothing more to tell of this sin
no one ever wins
as the crack
eats her being
she sighs with
a grin
