Like a light drizzle
After the battle
Everything's
Turned into a quiet sound
For once I can listen
I'm not trying
To block it out
I've got time
And space to breathe
These poems and drawings
Are only reflections
Of a garden I've tried
So hard to harbour
At first,
With the screaming
Nothing grew quite right
But now,
With only the quiet sounds
I find they
Bloom and leaf out
A little bit more proudly
Than they used to
Thank God for
Quiet sounds
Please tell me what you think

my favorite tim eis when im laying in bed in the Spring time and I leave my window open and i wake up.
i can hear the crickets and cicadas outside my windown on the trees and in the grass and it makes me feel at peace. like everything will be okay. i think thats why I love spring the best.
