Untitled

you stand wide awake
wishing you were gone
at least no longer here

this room has been stripped
of its color
it sickens me
how you can just walk away
like I don't even exist

Fear
I fear you
you fear me
because I know you
I see right through
you're thinner than glass
you're clearer than the mirror
you're reflection is murky
but you can't hide from me
I see you

the lights from your eyes are fading
I reach for you
but you slip
you fall
you made this choice
but I regret
I feel as if it's my fault
for not taking the fall
I'm the failure

you stand wide awake
wishing you were gone
at least no longer here
is this what keeps you from coming face to face
with your fear

What did you think

If I were to speak aloud in front of the mirror, this is what the reflection might speak back to me.
But reading this again, makes me think about what a failure i am to my family and friends, and how I always daydream about being someone more than I am for all of them.
    Anyhell, excellent write.
