The sunset lay on the moon

The sunset lay on the moon
over the dark green hill
It’s never up too late, never up too soon
It makes me sit on the balcony and lie
Looking at the sunset lay on the moon
Such wild colours in my eye
From the beautiful feeling in the sky

If I had a wish
I’d wish for many things
But most of all to swim in the sunset
With my bright yellow wings
I could imagine the sky
Live forever and never die
Even when us humans are not around,
The sunset will be laying on the moon,
It will be standing there,
Never up too late and never up to soon.

Wonderfully penned. The imagery was incredible. Your vision delightful. I too would love to swim in a sunset....as close as I will get is watching and dreaming and you captured it well within this piece. May your ink never stop flowing, your words never silenced for you have been blessed with a talent. Will be reading more of your work. Best of luck in the contest.
