Spells can be undone,
a misfortune made gladness;
a battle victory doesn't always
win the war.
I lay there,
growing cold,
embraced by death-
intoxicating rigidity taking hold;
and still, there was time.
Time to fight for the life
you can't undo,
and the shadows you dispense;
candy apples tainted death-
no-one would ever expect.
But I'm here with the evidence
of evil overgrown beauty,
and your trial awaits you
in a court of penetrating truth.
{I dare you to hide}
