Touch of Grace

Faithful in my age of breaking, He is giving and I’m taking.
Ever present in my time of need, gently holding this bruised reed.
I’m waiting for my age of glory there at the end of my story.
There I’ll see how my breaking helped to heal me of my aching.

He’s the fire feeding my flame. Gives me purpose through His Name.
Forgiver of my wretched sin; my touch of Grace beyond the skin.

Wait on Him for your glory delivered through the end of your story.
Glory is birthed through your breaking made like Him through your aching.
Age of breaking to ageless glory. We each own a similar story.
Similar hearts, different faces. We just break in different places.

Be the Fire of our flame, be our purpose in Your Name.
You forgave our wretched sin; touched with Grace beyond the skin.

Praise the Fire of our flame. Our good purpose through the Name.
Forgiver of our wretched sin. Touches with Grace beyond the skin.

    Bravo!

This is the write that I was thinking you'd write & how interesting that I just wrote you about being conformed into His image! Wonderful praise poem to His glory! Yes, He breaks us where we need breaking to be remade into His form! When we call on Him in sincerity & truth in our brokenness He shows us how to change & helps us to grow when we're ready to accept everything He gives us! HalleluYah...what a Savior!

This would make a nice song. The rhyming works out nicely. The one problem area is 'Fire of our flame', which sounds weird to me.
