Snow Fun

Snow! Snow!
Yeah, its snowing!

Dancing around as the snow falls down.
Falling into a pile,
arms flapping, legs scissoring
Let's make a snow angel!

It's snowing! It's snowing!
Oh yes, it's snow!

Slipping and sliding on ice
maybe even on a sled.
Fun in the cold, frozen ice.
Oh, how exciting.

Hey! Mom! It's snowing!
Yeah for Snow!

Snowballs flying,
Oops, one down mom's coat!
Snowman with carrot nose,
charcoal eyes and mouth,
pine cone buttons down the front.

Playing in snow, so fun.
Snow! Snow!

Author notes

Written from a child's point of view. Picture a child's excitement as they realize it's snowing and how a child will keep repeating, at intervals, the fact that is obvious.
Hope its not too long for the contest.

    You paint a beautiful winter wonderland picture of making snow Angels. A vivid picture of the snow balls flying. It was a pleasure to read.

    Lovely Poem

    Now this brings back many winter chikldhod memories of mine and my children. A pleasure to read this morning. Brought a smile . We had a dusting of snow last night so this was nice to read. Hugs, Sandy

    I love the way you talk about the ice and snow. Wonderful flow of words. The parts I liked is Hey mom it's snowing. Dancing around as the snow comes down. This was wonderful, nice flow. It was a pleasure to read.

      I am glad my poem made you laugh. The part about the snowball down the coat, I did that to my mom once.
