Lost wonderers in wondrous land
Once Grand and proud Mother
Now!
Filled to the brim
In mud and urine pools
The sewers are burst
The place stinks
We all sniff around like ratts
Smelling the flood of stool and vomit
Approaching to sweep us away
Into the Ocean of yesteryear
Forgotten by Gods, and Demons
Once We were
No more we`ll be
We are doomed to drown
In our shit.

Came here to return the favour
Could very well be - we just may drown in our own shit - time will tell - man is a survivor - and the earth is resilliant - can grow a blade of grass through blacktop - but thr Earth is a living thing - and yes we are killing her - sucking her dry of her cooling system - we do so many things ass backwards - you commented on my poem "How Good Is God" - I won't reply to your comment for 2 reasons - 1 - you emphatically said I was wrong
2 - the prompt for this poem was a Psalm
from God's word.
The fat cats I think of are the crooks - like the one CEO that skimmed over 250 million off the company he headed.
Bless God - Joe ---------------------------- peace

I think you meant 'drown' not 'drawn' in the last two lines. Other than that, this piece was good. I thought the idea was new and smiled a little to myself in imagining it all. Excellent write and good luck in my contest.
