What I Like To Do

 

 

It’s ice hockey for the cousin Johnny,

and snowmen for sister Sue.

Snowball fights for the twins,

but that’s not what I like to do.

 

Snow Angels the choice for Kathy,

ice fishing puts a smile on the face of Drew.

Snow forts are the thing for the Smith boys,

but that’s not what I like to do.

 

Sleigh rides for Grandma and Grandpa,

skiing is the favorite fun for Betty Lou.

Skating is the pick for the Jones’s girls and boys,

but that’s not what I like to do.

 

Warm fire burning in the fireplace,

lots of hot chocolate to share with you.

Snuggling close with my little ones,

that is what I like to do.

    Congratulations on the bronze. This is so awsome for a parent to feel this way. I didn't have that cuddling when I was young. I wish I did. It was a pleasure to read.
