Guardian Angel

His smile and his eyes are all she thinks about
The day she gets to see him excites her greatly
Everyday she finds herself thinking of him nonstop
He means the world to her and always will

When she needs advice he gives it to her
If she's hurt, he'd make sure she never was again
Waiting for him is all that she will do
Like an angel's wing spreading over her protectively
To him she would give her life as well as her heart

Any tears she shed he would wipe them away gently
Her most treasured prize she gives him to take care of
A second chance at happiness given, after the first failed
That girl's angel envelops her in his strong wings; never lets go

Protected she is, as well as loved; this is no false truth or hurtful lie
Together once again, free of the constant worries of fate's wrath
Reality brought them together, while fate tried keeping them apart
As her trust grows in him, her fondness of him also grows

Things begin to look better in her life because of him
If she falls, he will be there to catch her always and forever
Whenever she was threatened, he would protect her
The angel's wings are her safety net that catch her if she falls

Never does her angel's promises get broken, but are always kept
Words can't be said to describe her love of her guardian angel
For once, things are going the way they should for her; a surprise

Everything is how it should be; in it's rightful place again
Wings now enfolding her completely, she knows she is loved
The darkness that was once visible, now cast out and light returns
