Having no children of my own
You'd think I'd be quite alone.
Like the piper,
As I go through this world
I am followed by boys and girls.
Like angels from above
It is for love,
That they search.
Come and be apart
Of the family of my heart.
I'll hear your pain,
Wipe the tears it brings.
In my house,
There is always room,
I hope you come soon.
From time to time
I raise kids that aren't mine.
Join me here,
Everyone calls me Aunt
I don't see, why you can't.

So do you need an Aunt?

This is so endearing. It really hits the heart for me. Seeing as that I have only live family member and refuse to have any ties with him (Italy and my whole family was members of a particular organization I won't mention here) I want all the family I could get. Unfortunately, there are like no entries to this contest, and I will be closing it, sorry.
Thank you anyways.

Your poem raised an echo in my bachelor soul.
