People say that
"Roses are red"
"And violets are blue"
But is that true?
Roses have many colors
just like a rainbow
or the human race
Violets aren't blue,
Aren't violets violet?
Just like an orange is orange
Or green is green
I guess not everything you see is as it seems,
And not everyhting you hear is absolutely true.
Right?
i thought of this for a long time. i had a long argument about it with myself.

This is one of those writes with an observation that is so obvious it avoids detection until a clever soul like yourself decides to point it out. I found this poem both original and thought provoking. How many things have gone unquestioned because they are so well known and excepted as the truth. You're observations are both challenging and original, put simply and yet powerfully in this poem. Great job!!
