Letting It Go

I’m tired of the struggle.
I’m tired of the fight.
I’ve got the strength.
I’ve got the time.
I’m moving on.
I’m getting up.
With an open heart and arms,
I’m letting it go.
This world where I sat
Confused and discontent.
I’m letting it go.
I’m calm and strong
I’ve got the ways of the world
Under my feet to hold me up.
I’m starting again.
I’m cleansing this life.
I’m making it new.
I’m taking my stand and getting back to myself.
This constant conflict is done.
I’m over it and the pain I was in.
I’ll smile and laugh.
And reconnect with the world.
I’m getting there.

Slowly.
I’m returning…

    Hmm.... what is this one about? I totally missed something big. Its a good poem, kinda deep and simple at the same time. I like it! Feels good to write again doesn't it?
