You Left Me; Left Me With Remorse

Remorse, remorse
So much force to have on me
To feel the pain that feels like I'm going insane
From the remorse of the sin I've committed.

Misery; such misery
From the sea of sorrow
Carrying my regrets along with me as I try to forget
What it is I gave away to you.

A loner, alone
Every night at home I sit
Thinking about why I made the choice that night
To let you have all I could give you.

One night, some night
I'll be able to fight the hurt inside
That has plagued me to become so vague
With the way I show my face to the world.

I'm lost; a loss
Is what comes across my mind
With every thought that this guilt wrought
To succumb my every heartbeat to remorse.

Author notes

My ex was my first time, and after 5 months he left me. With no reason good enough to justify it, but I'm glad he's gone. Though it does not stop the thoughts that cross my mind about what I did and what I miss.

Oh, Sweetie, just stop feeling guilty. Sex is not a sin. Trust me on this one. You are a good person. I am sorry that this person left you without any explaination, but just dust yourself off and know that you did nothing wrong.

    Thank you for entering.

Thanks a lot. I know that I shouldn't feel guilty and I'm talking to a few people to try to get over that fact. Thanks again.
