Once Woven Now Snipped

Your absence has gone through me,
Like a thread that passes through the eye of a needle.
Everything I now do is stitched with your presence.

Looking back I reflect on how we started,
Your words were smooth and flowed like silk,
lined with grace and sprinkled with gold.

Now missing your voice and touch,

most of all the taste of your sweet kiss.
Where we were once woven together now we are snipped.

172 words in a 77-word contest? I don't think this is gonna work.
