From all the abraisions that cover my eyes
You'd say that I just couldn't see at all,
But with thoughts open wide
I can see the rain, the cliffs, and all here and beyond.
Nobody's coming for me,
That ship has sailed, the love has gone to bed
sweetly sleeping on the tops of trees.
If only if only you and me...
Swimming through life
Letting the ocean pull you in
And drowning you in its depths
Getting spun around by the current yet at the same time
Feeling so free.
The salt and the cool cool breeze
Washing over me, taking me in.
We don't have troubles, for the tide washes our sin
And our earth mother keeps us safe and warm
The father moon tells me I'm home.
I fly the highest trails
Free as the crow
Cackling in trees
To a song you'll never know.
I crawl the ground
Strong as the snake
You can twist my body
But my mind will not shake.
I sting you once
But one day I'll fly
Til I reach the atmos
and Burn up in the sky.
