Can someone love you
And love someone else

Would you believe them if

Sometimes even intelligent girls get themselves into stupid situations.
I would prefer comments on how well this poem is written or how I can improve it rather than the subject. Yes I'm stupid, yes he's taken but NO i am NOT interphering in his relationship anymore. I'm letting him be the boyfriend he should be. Happy?

But I agree with the poster beneath me in that this is more like thoughts running through your head as opposed to a poem ;
If this is a real life situation that you've found yourself in, I hope you find the resolving point of it soon!

Seems like this is more like thoughts running through your head, a series of questions, rather than a poem. Not that it's a bad thing. I would incorporate more of your inner feelings into the poem. Explain how the situation affects your emotions. Or perhaps instead of just asking questions, attempt to answer some of them as well. Just some ideas from me, use them or ignore them how you wish.

i understand how u feel. And yes, ok, walking away would be sensible, but you would go through the rest of your life thinking 'what if'....
I say stick around and see what happens.
to be fair hun, you have nothing to lose and he has EVERYTHING to lose, ffs your a child at the end of the day, have some fun in ur life and learn some new experiences, if it works YAY if not, then you know for next time

I walked away for nearly 2years.......if he said "I really want to be with her, I'm happy and I don't want you" then I'd respect it and I'd walk away but it's the little bit of hope he so often gives out that my heart hangs onto.

There was a man that i was in love with. he was in the army and went over to iraq, and came back with a gf.. she was in the army as well. he told me that he still loved me but he needed her to...I told him I was done.. and he came back to me a year later.. and I found out 6 months after going out with him that he was still seeing her full time... I was heart broken... so I hear what your talking to. Because during that year that we apart, he would call me every few days seeing if i was ok, and wanting to go out just as friends, and he would get jealous and all that good stuff.. sorry for the story!!! i just relized how long this got!

Mine liked me, but for many many personal reasons I couldnt get involved. We were still kinda close, found out he'd been sleeping with this girl n decided no contact was best for us...he had her n I needed to sort my life out. Fell in love with my ex, this guy had no major part in my life whilst I was with my ex ...relationship with ex falls apart, guy is there and is in a relationship but becomes part of my life again as a friend on status. -

yes even very intelligent women fall for stupid men lol. we are all guilty of that. great write and may your heart heal quickly. Im nnot sure what to tell you to follow cause sometimes the heart is wrong I tend to follow my heart but it has gotten me into trouble. Not anymore since im married but again there, I did follow my heart so I guess it worked out for the best. Best of luck to you.

i had two guys who i was getting to know and i was at the point with both
of them that one might become a bf
but the one i thought i loved was taken and when i was with the other i couldn't stop thinking about the first
