Faith

A murky future looms ahead
Unsurity grabs me back
Afraid of what the future holds
Faith is what I lack

Unfamiliarity scares me
Change is a dreaded word
No comfort zones and peace to hold
Faith seems so unsecured.

Yet step by step I take my time
Praying all the way
I know that God will lead me through
Faith guiding me day by day.

Author notes

I am graduating this year and am planning on attending collage in Lancaster, CA, which is across the country from where I live. I am scarred to death, but I know that that is God's Will for me to do. So although the way is unsure and terrifying, God will see me through day by day if I but trust in Him.

    A great write. I loved it. Chels, you've written an amazing poem. The Bible says that 'Without faith, it is impossible to please God.' All you have to do is to allow Him to do His will in your life. I know its tough, but its often the best thing to do and trust Him wholeheartedly. Pray and ask the Lord what He would want you to do, and I'm sure you'll get your answer.
