What lies behind the sensuous smile
wolf lurks deep in dark spaces
That which thin skin cannot reveal
hollow eyes portray innocent faces
A woman knows most cherished thoughts
lips that speak poetry of pure reasons
strip away her delicate clothes
revealing flesh in changing season
She values more about the man
his intelligent mind and grace
a heart intact with kindness
unlock his fears to embrace
Symbolically, what looks good on arm
the candy sweet she said
there is no voice denying
a snake so delicious in ones bed.
When sunrise comes
look across a shadowed pillow
to a man and his spirited soul
emotion is just a tainted shell
left for others to discover and behold
