The clouds are scudding across the sky
The depth of blue staggers my eye
The vast beyond I cannot see
I stand here wondering
What is to be?
There is this here and that there
There are ways to travel
but I cannot bear
The decision to go or to stay is unclear
There is too much to hold on to
too many too dear
The cusp of the crossroad
is where I stand
With arrows pointing on either hand
I am left shaking my head in dispair
asking myself ... why the heck am I there
But go as I must
it's my heart's inner cry
my instincts I'll trust
it's go, do, or die
and as this is but one life we hold
I'm off "to the wizard"
come sun or come cold
