Remembering

My heart aches to see her smile,

hear her laughter, embrace her hug.

Her strength kept her fighting hard,

determined to live, though she was dying.

She found joy in her family,

sharing her love and wisdom.

My sister-in-law and dearest friend,

how I miss talking to her.

Honest in her opinions,

empathetic to our needs.

She gave her love freely,

replete with compassion.

Her time was short,

but she didn't give up the fight.

Faith kept her strong from day to day,

but her time was already determined.

She lives on in my heart,

and in the smiles of her children.

She's been given a new body,

and stands in the Glory of Jesus.

    This is a lovely.

This is a very lovely and heartfelt tribute to your sister-in-law. Especially now with cancer being on the front burner of our minds.

Thank you...today is her birthday, she would have turned 64. I am missing her today...but then, I miss her everyday.

It is hard to read about the death of family, friends, or anyone we loved.
I am humble that you took the time to enter my contest.

May the Blessing of Angels comfort you.
