Sonnet of an empty heart

My heart doth know exactly what it seeks
and yet it cannot find its deepest want
for roses show no more on my white cheeks
and of one man my heart's no longer fond

And yet when I see him my heart doth pound
and breaks out of its formerly silent shell
to tell the mind that love at last is found
and over are those lonesome loveless days

For in his eyes a fiercesome passion burns
a charming smile doth lay upon his lips
his hair doth dance each time his body turns
and strong broad shoulders rest upon his ribs

Alas, it cannot be, the mind doth cry
his heart won't love and I won't live a lie.

Oh, this is so nice. the mind that rules the body, is a mind indeed. I loved the fisrt stanza especially as well as the rhyme scheme of the third stanza. The end couplet puts a finality to it that neatly caps this poem.
