When the rays of the sun
wrap you in warmth,
know that is your daughter’s love
reaching out to give you comfort
When the roses bloom
and flowers abound everywhere,
know that is her beauty
being shown to give you solace
When the birds sing
in a chorus of music,
know that is her voice
letting your ears hear
she is at peace.
Take comfort in knowing
that she is all around you,
in the warmth of the memories
the beauty of her soul
in the songs of the heart where love dwells.

thank you islekine - I hope they can find a little comfort in these thoughts. I know after my dad passed away, I watched for a certain bird outside mom's window - it would come several times a day and perch on the branches. After mom passed away, we had gone out to pick up her personal belongings - and glancing out her window, we saw 2 of those birds - had to smile because all we could think of was that they both were together now....
