I was once a happy man
with heart and head held high.
The days did come when she killed me
and my heart was then to die.
I tried my best to make it work,
the heart i kept so near.
Nothing seemed to revive it,
and hence my biggest fear.
I loved her so and gave my all
only in despair.
So with this pen youll see my soul
and heart i can not share.
For my best friend she left me here,
alone and out of luck.
With nothing worth striving for
i could not give a fuck.
I believe in love for all those out
in this world so bare.
But with no heart and soul to hold unto
i can never share.
Love is something left for dead,
at least for me it seems.
Emptiness it beckons me,
and happiness it gleams.
Give up now while heart in tact,
and worlds not stained with tears.
For nothing else can takes its place,
this love from all those years.

Almost feels like a shell that the insides have shriveled, bcz of all the hurt and pain. Staring at the wall wondering why you still breath. Great piece.

Wow. I almost cried reading this.(I haven't cried in what I believe is almost a year.) This has to be very similar to how I feel, if not exactly similar. I'm not going to say I hope it gets better because I've been seeing people say that a lot on here when really it just makes it worse. (For me, at least.)
Instead, I hope life gives you some relief.
