Like a petal drifting from a flower
A piece of me floats to you
The delicate beauty you hold close
Your hand capturing it true
You smile at the feel of gentle love
The petal desperately sent
Cradled to your beating heart
For everything that love meant
Finally you gaze across
The endless flow of land and sea
To find that hidden blooming flower
That is every bit made of me
