Feeling like a teenager
after all these years
found some one
to laugh with and
share my tears.
It's taken half my life
many tears on the way
one thing is for certain
your here to stay.
It may be a long time
till I feel this way again
heart missing a beat
when I hear your name.
If you were to stand before me
a wish I would like to come true
I would do every thing
and any thing just for you.
This wish I have may take
some time
but what is worth having
is worth the wait.
To me it will never be to
late.
If when I see you I am old and grey,
remember my young heart,
that has been beating for you
since that first day.
