lost love

as my thoughts flow through my mind tonight
i wonder were you are and if your alright
the days are long but the nights are even longer
nothing feels right without you by my side
ever sence you left things just havent been the same
i forgot how to smile and i no longer laugh
im just one of those people that time slowly passes
my tears now fall daily and my eyes dont know dry
i whip them away and slowly they arise
i think of the days when you held me close
and times you whispered your sweet words
my ears still tingel from your soft voice
and you've been gone for so long
at times i can still feel your hands around my waist
as if you were still here holding me
i still see your face in my dreams
and i still taste your sweet kiss on my lips
it's as if you never left
but then i  come back to reality and you are gone
there is a hole in me now
a scare i'll never erase
ill never regret you though
because i got the chance to love you
