A path well traveled

Fearing the journey not quite paved.
Guilded reflections of pleasures past.
Dwelt laden guilt, nor voices saved,
Thoughts worth hearing, truth's en massed.
Silenced suffering though not yet waived,
desire nonetheless guides this path.

Author notes

This is not a new poem, however i've been unable lately to enter the contests here at AP using the PW option so i have to copy and paste one of my prewritten poems and enter as new. Sorry for any confusion, but i did not want to be seen as decieving.
I was intrigued with this form of poetry (Harrisham Rhyme) once i quit being a scaredy-cat , thought i'd take a shot in the dark. sure had fun trying this form for the first time.

A contest entry

I plan to revise this poem: please leave constructive criticism!
