Under the blanket of night,
the stars shining oh so perfect in the night sky,
I find you.
Warm to the touch yet cold to emotion,
still I can see you.
I see inside of you.
I know whats within. Do you?
I think the heavens shall crack that night
under the weight of its own beauty.
A beauty that has been elusive to it.
Stars shall fall and the sky shall shed these tears,
tears that are nothing less then pure joy,
joy spawned by its own discovery.
Cold to emotion warmed by a touch
I find you.
And together we witness this miracle of the cosmos.
Seeing and feeling, feeling and seeing.
Fear in your fingertips, fear in your heart.
But the night sky still holds many secrets in the folds of its blanket
that are still waiting to be discovered.
One day at a time, one hour, one minute, one second.
Each moment yields new discovery.
Each moment unlocks new secrets.
Fear is no longer motivation enough to look away
from the shining beauty of the night sky.

WOW!
You go from writing about broken love, and now this! it sounds like you may have found someone. someone shy and fearful. if this is true then good luck and congrats!

Thank you mystic. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Unfortunatley, no I haven't found anyone. Like the rest of my poems I get into the right mood and just write what comes to mind. Thanks again.

I really liked this, your imagery and emotions even the ending was very well penned. I am so glad to see you're back to writing again.
I don't think I have a favorite line but your ending captured me so tightly and the emotions were just flowing. Keep penning.
Much love
~Noor
