feathers

life finds tools to do the work of the emotions
to fix hearts to far horizon's deeper shades
a world adorned by painted mural oceans turns
like a treadmill beneath our feet
skies spin overhead
and we are like parts of broken string dolls

yet feelings find feathers and helpful winds
broken wings mended by hope
and soft eyes that see tomorrow
through mists and darkest night.

a world adorned by painted mural oceans turns
like a treadmill beneath our feet

    beautiful

Wow this is so rich with imagery and so pretty. the title atracted me, very intruiging! I like the way it describes the world and our small role yet how much we are effected by it all at once. (probably nothing to do with it -->) Personaly it made me think in the second verse of final fantasy 8, so was i nice thought to muse upon.

    great work
    xx

There is a richness that fills this page. The power of words is sometimes overwhelming. Hope abounds in this poem PK! You keep it alive and well. There is no life support needed for the good health of love, and living, if we tend properly to all the gardens. For, there are oceans to quench the thirsts of all the flowers. Beautiful work here poet! I wish you well in the challenge.

It's sad to be apart from those we love, but the certainty of being together once again, makes the hurt bearable.

Your words and writings are always so full of hope.
Loved the treadmill of oceans. Excellent hon.
I like where how it seperates and joins together again.
