Eyes as deep as oceans
Allow insight into a haunted soul.
The one who never sleeps
Knows all that goes on in the night.
Creeping thoughts,
Screaming memories,
Shifting to the front
Of her withered mind.
Nobody else recalls
The horrors viewed,
When everyone is asleep
In the middle of the night.

Can't seem to find any negative comments as requested in my competition.
So this is about a person who has nightmares of an unspecified form.

In it's brevity, and with such lovely imagery, this piece is just excellent. The second stanza was my favorite, I'm adding you to the finalists. Thanks for entering this.
