Love wrapped in plastic clear but cold
Forgotten with the passing night
Head bent in sorrow to hide the tears
Put away in darkness with no light
Passion faded with now empty arms
As he passes slowly from her view
Love wrapped in plastic clear yet cold
Sad memories now left of you

I don't know for absolute what the metaphor of 'Love wrapped in plastic clear yet cold' means but what I see while reading this is what I often find myself doing...
Going through old photo albums and being caught up in the bittersweet memories behind and within the cold plastic of the pictures and albums.
Your poetic genuis is as always evident and beautiful.
